A teenage girl has been charged after an alleged assault at North Curl Curl netball courts.
Around 2.00pm last Saturday (16 May 2026), NSW Police responded to reports of an alleged assault taking place at the netball courts at Abbott Road, North Curl Curl (main image).
On arrival, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were told a 12-year-old boy had been allegedly assaulted by a teenage girl, before she left the scene on an e-bike.
NSW Ambulance was called, and paramedics assessed the 12-year-old boy, who did not require further treatment in hospital.
As a result of initial inquiries as to the identity of the girl involved in the alleged affray, police attended a home at Curl Curl shortly afterwards. They spoke with a 14-year-old girl, who was given a caution.
Following further inquiries, around 10.30am this morning (Thursday, 21 May 2026), the girl attended Manly Police Station where she was arrested and charged with affray.
She was granted condition bail to appear before a Children’s Court on Wednesday, 17 June 2026.
