  • Allambie Heights. Just before 7.30pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Binalong Avenue, Allambie Heights.
  • Avalon Beach. Just before 1.30pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Dress Circle Road, Avalon Beach.
  • Balgowlah. 8.30am Monday, 29 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Boyle Street, Balgowlah.
  • Balgowlah. Just before 2.00pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Waratah Street, Balgowlah.
  • Balgowlah. Just after 7.30am Tuesday, 30 November, Transport Management crews were called to clear an oil spill between Manly Road, Balgowlah and the Spit Bridge. The spill closed the bus lane, affecting citybound traffic for around two hours.
  • Belrose. Shortly before 5.00pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Mona Vale Road, Belrose.
  • Brookvale. Shortly before 4.00pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to a report of a collision between a car and motorcycle in front of Northern Beaches Harley Davidson at Harbord Road, Brookvale. A man and woman in their 30s were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics but did not require further treatment. The motorcycle was less fortunate.
  • Brookvale. Shortly after 6.30pm, Wednesday, 01 December, NSW Ambulance paramedics responded to a report of a man in his 30s who had fallen at Orchard Road, Brookvale. He was treated for a shoulder injury and taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
  • Brookvale. Shortly after 7.00am Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision at Pittwater Road, Brookvale near Roger Street. Northbound traffic was affected until the vehicles were cleared just after 7.30am.
  • Church Point. Just before 8.00am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Pittwater Road, Church Point.
  • Collaroy Plateau. Just before midday Monday, 29 November, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision at Acacia Street, Collaroy Plateau. The T-bone collision had resulted in one vehicle rolling over but landing upright. The male driver in his 50s was treated for injuries to his head and shoulder and taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition. The female driver of the other vehicle was assessed but not taken to hospital.
  • Cromer. Shortly after 3.15pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police and multiple NSW Ambulance crews responded to a report of a boy who had fallen from a bike on a dirt track near Maybrook Avenue, Cromer. They found the boy suffering suspected head injuries. The CareFlight helicopter was tasked but was forced to turn back due to dangerous weather conditions. The boy was taken by intensive care ambulance to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick in a serious condition under police escort with a green light corridor organised by the Transport Management Centre.
  • Dee Why. Just after 2.45pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to assist an elderly man who had fallen near the library at Pittwater Road, Dee Why. He was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
  • Elanora Heights. Just after 3.30pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police and Transport Management were called to assist a truck that had become stuck at Elanora Road, Elanora Heights.
  • Fairlight. Shortly after 8.00am Sunday, 28 November, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to a report of a pedestrian struck by a truck at Sydney Road, Fairlight. They found a man in his 20s suffering leg injuries. He was treated and taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition. Traffic was impacted for around a half hour until the incident was cleared from the road.
  • Forestville. Just after 8.15am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Warringah Road, Forestville.
  • Forestville. Just before 8.30am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision at Ferguson Road, Forestville. Two NSW Ambulance crews attended and assessed the male occupant of one vehicle but nobody required transport to hospital.
  • Frenchs Forest. Just after 2.30pm Wednesday, 01 December, emergency services were called to a two-car collision at Forest Way, Frenchs Forest near Russell Avenue. Three NSW Ambulance crews responded to the scene, assessing five occupants of the vehicles. Initial concerns were held that one person was trapped in their car, but emergency services were able to assist them out of the vehicle. They were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition suffering neck and chest injuries.
  • Frenchs Forest. Just before 7.00pm Wednesday, 01 December, NSW Police received a report of a hit and run collision between a truck and car at Forest Way, Frenchs Forest near Warringah Road. The truck sideswiped a car that was turning into Forestway Shopping Centre and drove away without stopping. The number plate of the truck was reported to police by an eyewitness.
  • Frenchs Forest. Shortly after 5.30pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Frenchs Forest Road, Frenchs Forest.
  • Manly. Just before 6.15pm Monday, 29 November, emergency services were called to Osborne Road, Manly where concern had been raised for the welfare of a woman on the roof of an apartment block. NSW Police, NSW Ambulance paramedics and firefighters from Manly Station assisted the woman down from the roof. She subsequently said on social media she had been on the roof enjoying the view.
  • Manly Vale. Just before 2.45pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Parkes Street, Manly Vale.
  • Mona Vale. Shortly before 7.00am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a collision between two motor vehicles at Mona Vale Road, Mona Vale near Ponderosa Parade. The road was blocked for around 15 minutes until the vehicles were moved from the road.
  • Mona Vale. 9.00pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Stanley Street, Mona Vale.
  • Mona Vale. Just after 2.30pm Wednesday, 01 December, emergency services were called to Pittwater Road, Mona Vale, directly opposite Mona Vale Police Station, where a silver hatchback collided with a power pole. Police officers attended on foot to assist the female driver who was assessed for minor injuries by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition. Southbound traffic was heavily affected for around an hour while the vehicle was cleared from the incident scene.
  • Mona Vale. Just before 11.15am Friday, 03 December, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Barrenjoey Road, Mona Vale.
  • Mona Vale. Shortly after 2.30pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police were called to a motor vehicle accident at Mona Street, Mona Vale.
  • Narrabeen. Just after 9.00pm Wednesday, 01 December, emergency services responded to a report of a collision between a motorcycle and car at Park Street, Narrabeen near Mactier Street. The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, had clipped a car at low speed, sustaining chest and abdominal injuries. He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
  • Narrabeen. Just after midnight Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police received a report of a person driving erratically at Octavia Street, Narrabeen.
  • Narrabeen. Just after 6.45pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at Park Street, Narrabeen.
  • Newport. Just before 3.15pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics responded to a report of an unresponsive man in a vehicle at Barrenjoey Road, Newport. The man who was believed to be in his 60s, appeared to have been deceased for some time before concern had been raised. Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
  • Oxford Falls. Shortly after 9.30am Saturday, 27 November, Oxford Falls Road, Oxford Falls was closed by flooding. The road reopened after 3.00pm.
  • Oxford Falls. Just before 1.15pm Saturday, 27 November, emergency services attended a two-vehicle collision at the Wakehurst Parkway, Oxford Falls, approximately 1km south of the Academy of Sport. No injuries were reported but traffic was affected for just under half an hour until the vehicles were towed.
  • Oxford Falls. Just after 3.45pm Monday, 29 November, a truck breakdown affected southbound traffic for around a half hour at the Wakehurst Parkway, Oxford Falls near Dreadnought Road.
  • Seaforth. Just before 4.00pm Wednesday, 01 December, emergency services were called to a collision between a motorcycle and car at Frenchs Forest Road, Seaforth near Brook Road. The motorbike rider, a man in his 60s, was found lying in the roadway with lower leg injuries. He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition. A contra-flow was established via Yatama Street for two hours until the incident scene was cleared by NSW Police.
  • Terrey Hills. Just after 2.00pm Friday, 03 December, Terrey Hills Rural Fire Brigade responded to a request for animal assistance at Palmland Nursery, Mona Vale Road, Terrey Hills. They found a possum caught behind wooden lattice. They released the trapped possum by cutting a hole in the lattice to let it escape.
  • Wheeler Heights. Just before 1.30pm Tuesday, 30 November, emergency services were called to a three-vehicle collision at Veterans Parade, Wheeler Heights. Initial concerns a man in his 80s was trapped in one of the vehicles proved unfounded. He was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics but nobody required transport to hospital.

  • Balgowlah. Just after 8.45pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a break-in at Bungaloe Avenue, Balgowlah.
  • Brookvale. Just before 8.15pm Sunday, 28 November, NSW Police were called to a report of vandalism to property at Pittwater Road, Brookvale.
  • Brookvale. Just before 2.30pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a theft from a motor vehicle that was parked at Pittwater Road, Brookvale.
  • Dee Why. Shortly after 5.30pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to investigate a break-in at premises at Pacific Parade, Dee Why.
  • Dee Why. 3.00pm Sunday, 28 November, NSW Police were called to a report of an intruder on premises at The Strand, Dee Why.
  • Dee Why. Shortly after 11.00am Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a report of a vehicle stolen from Pacific Parade, Dee Why.
  • Dee Why. Just after 9.30pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a break-in at South Creek Road, Dee Why.
  • Forestville. Just before 2.30am Wednesday, 01 December, NSW Police received a report of a motor vehicle stolen from where it had been parked at Alkoomie Avenue, Forestville.
  • Manly. 12.45pm Sunday, 28 November, NSW Police received a report of property stolen from a motor vehicle parked at the beach at North Steyne, Manly.
  • Manly. Just after 9.30pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Police were called to investigate a report of stealing from a retail store at The Corso, Manly.
  • Manly. Just after 2.45pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police were called to a report of theft from a retail store at The Corso, Manly.
  • Mona Vale. Just after 2.30pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a break-in at Waterview Street, Mona Vale.
  • Narrabeen. Midnight Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police were called to investigate an intruder at a property at Ocean Street, Narrabeen.
  • North Narrabeen. Shortly after 9.30am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police received a report of a break-in of premises at Wakehurst Parkway, North Narrabeen.
  • Warriewood. Just after 4.00am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to investigate a break-in at Firetail Drive, Warriewood.
  • Warriewood. Just before 1.45pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police were called to a report of a security alarm being triggered at a store at Warriewood Square, Jacksons Road, Warriewood.

  • Belrose. Just after 4.00pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Police received a report of a group of disorderly youths gathered at a reserve at Wingara Grove, Belrose.
  • Belrose. Just after 9.15pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a report of an assault at Childs Circuit, Belrose.
  • Brookvale. Just before 8.15pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to assist a person who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at Pittwater Road, Brookvale.
  • Clareville. Just before 4.15pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police were called to a report of an assault at Hudson Parade, Clareville.
  • Dee Why. Shortly before 10.15pm Sunday, 28 November, NSW Police were called to investigate an assault at Pittwater Road, Dee Why.
  • Dee Why. Just after 9.45pm Monday, 29 November, NSW Police were called to assist a person who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at Pacific Parade, Dee Why.
  • Forestville. Just after 7.30pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police were called to a report of an assault at Melwood Avenue, Forestville.
  • Frenchs Forest. 10.30pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to investigate a report of disorderly youths gathered in a park at Patanga Road, Frenchs Forest.
  • Manly. Shortly after 1.30am Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to a disturbance at Cove Avenue, Manly. They found a 23-year-old man in distress and took him to Northern Beaches Hospital for assessment.
  • Manly. Shortly before 6.00pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to a report of an altercation at Quinton Road, Manly. A man in his 50s was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital for treatment.
  • Manly. Just after 7.15pm Tuesday, 30 November, NSW Police were called to assist a person who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at East Esplanade, Manly.
  • Manly. Shortly before 7.30pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police were called to assist a person believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at Central Avenue, Manly.
  • Manly. Shortly after 7.30pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to assist a man in his 30s who appeared to be intoxicated and unresponsive at Wentworth Street, Manly. He was taken to Northern Beaches Hospital for observation and treatment.
  • Mona Vale. Shortly after 8.00pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to assist a person who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at Mona Vale Road, Mona Vale.
  • Mona Vale. 7.15pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police were called to a report of disorderly youths gathered near Mona Vale Memorial Hall at Park Street, Mona Vale.
  • Narrabeen. Just before 11.15pm Thursday, 02 December, NSW Police received a report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at King Street, Narrabeen.
  • Narraweena. Just after 1.00am Wednesday, 01 December, NSW Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics responded to a report of a stabbing at Narraweena. Upon arrival, they were unable to locate anyone suffering injuries consistent with the report.
  • North Curl Curl. Just after 12.45pm Sunday, 28 November, NSW Police were called to investigate a report of a person assaulted at Abbott Road, North Curl Curl.
  • Terrey Hills. Shortly before midnight Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to assist a person who appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at Myoora Road, Terrey Hills.
  • Terrey Hills. Just after 3.30pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police were called to a report of an assault at a reserve near Currong Circuit, Terrey Hills.
  • Warriewood. Just before 11.45pm Saturday, 27 November, NSW Police were called to a report of an assault in progress at Pittwater Road, Warriewood.
  • Warriewood. Around midday Thursday, 02 December, a woman reported being followed by a person in the car park at Warriewood Square Shopping Centre. The incident was reported to security.
  • Warriewood. Shortly after 10.30am Friday, 03 December, NSW Police were called to investigate a report of an assault at Macpherson Street, Warriewood.

Fire & Hazard

  • Dee Why. Just before 10.45am Tuesday, 30 November, Fire and Rescue NSW Dee Why Station was called to a fuel spill at Lismore Avenue, Dee Why. A metal road plate had punctured the fuel tank of a van. They contained the spill and rendered the fuel tank safe.
  • Elanora Heights. Shortly after 3.30pm Thursday, 02 December, Fire and Rescue NSW Mona Vale Station responded to a fire alarm at a retail premise at Kalang Road, Elanora Heights. They found no sign of fire and determined there was a fault in the alarm system.
  • Mona Vale. Around 6.00pm Tuesday, 30 November, Fire and Rescue NSW Mona Vale Station responded to a vehicle fire at Seabeach Avenue, Mona Vale.
  • Narrabeen. 5.30pm Saturday, 27 November, emergency services were called to a report of fire at the Sailing Club and Paddle Shop at Jamieson Park, Narrabeen. They arrived to find the premises well alight, with kayaks and boats providing fuel for the flames engulfing the building. An exclusion zone was established as firefighters attacked the blaze, setting up a pump system to draw water from the lagoon due to lack of water supply in the park. The fire was controlled by 7.00pm with mopping up operations completed around 8.30pm. Full story.
  • North Narrabeen. Just after 7.00am Friday, 03 December, NSW Police and Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a report of power lines down at Rickard Road, North Narrabeen. An exclusion zone was established by firefighters from Narrabeen Station until they were relieved just after 8.00am by Mona Vale Station until the arrival of Ausgrid.
  • Palm Beach. Shortly before 5.30pm Friday, 03 December, Fire and Rescue NSW Avalon Station was called to a report of smoke in the vicinity of Palm Beach Road, Palm Beach. They located the source of the smoke as timber being burned under supervision in a fireplace at a construction site.

Beach & Waterways

  • Collaroy. Shortly before 6.00pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police, NSW Ambulance paramedics and Surf Life Saving NSW were called to investigate a report of a person in distress in the water off Collaroy Beach. They located a person who was windsurfing and did not require assistance.
  • Dee Why. 2.50pm Sunday, 28 November, emergency services were called to a report of a person in distress in the water off Dee Why pool. The 59-year-old man who had been rock fishing was assisted by nearby surfers until he was recovered from the water by Surf Life Saving NSW Dee Why patrol. The NSW Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the scene, landing as the man was brought ashore. Lifeguards and paramedics performed CPR on the man but he was unable to be resuscitated. Fisherman dies at Dee Why
  • Manly. Shortly after 2.30pm Saturday, 27 November, emergency services received a report an 11-year-old girl had fallen awkwardly from the walkway at Manly Beach onto the sand. NSW Ambulance paramedics were assisted by Fire and Rescue NSW Manly Station to remove the girl from the beach, using precautions for spinal injury. She was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick for further assessment.
  • Manly. Just after 10.45am Monday, 29 November, NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to assist a person who had fallen onto rocks near Manly Life Saving Club, South Steyne, Manly. They found a man in his 30s suffering leg injuries. He was stabilised and with the assistance of Fire and Rescue NSW Manly Station carried to a waiting NSW Ambulance which took him to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
  • Pittwater. 1.45pm Friday, 03 December, NSW Police Marine Area Command were called to assist a vessel that had lost engine power near Scotland Island, Pittwater.

  • Police Academy. The NSW Police Force welcomed new recruits with the graduation of class 350 at the Goulburn Police Academy on Friday, 03 December. Four new probationary constables will join Northern Beaches Police Area Command from Monday, 06 December. The ceremony also celebrated the retirement of Police Commissioner Mick Fuller APM.
  • Police Appeal. Northern Beaches Police are investigating reports of a man who allegedly exposed himself at Walter Gors Park, Howard Avenue, Dee Why on Wednesday, 24 November, just before 3.00pm. The event reportedly took place in or close to the fountain.   • RFS talk. Coal and Candle Rural Fire Brigade will have their fire truck on display and be talking with people about bushfire preparedness at Warriewood Brook Retirement Village, 6-14 Macpherson Street, Warriewood from 10.00am-3.00pm Saturday, 04 December.
  • Elections. Saturday, 04 December, is Local Government Election day. Remember to visit your local polling place by 6.00pm to cast your vote in the council election.
