The Sea Eagles have announced local brewer 4 Pines as the naming rights partner for Brookvale Oval in a 4-year deal.
The ground will be called 4 Pines Park as part of a naming rights sponsorship with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Unlike previous ground sponsor Lottoland, which is based in Gibraltar, 4 Pines is headquartered within walking distance of the ground.
The naming rights sponsorship builds on an existing relationship with 4 Pines, who have been the official beer of the Sea Eagles since 2019. The new deal which takes effect this week, sees 4 Pines Brewing Company become a Premier Partner of the Sea Eagles, including naming rights of 4 Pines Park, until at least the end of the 2024 season.
“Much like the Sea Eagles, 4 Pines was born and bred in Manly and we share a passion to welcome the community into our spaces to connect and have fun. We’re going to double down on making a positive community impact with one of the great community grounds in the game,” said 4 Pines Chief Operating Officer Todd Atkinson.
Although the sportsground is owned by Northern Beaches Council, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have the naming rights. With construction of a new Centre of Excellence and 3,000 seat undercover grandstand well underway and due for completion at the north end of the ground later this year, work is underway to change all signage to 4 Pines Park ready for this Friday night’s match against the North Queensland Cowboys.
Sea Eagles CEO, Stephen Humphreys said he was delighted the club was able to work with 4 Pines as the naming rights sponsor for the Sea Eagles home ground.
“It’s a winning partnership of two iconic Northern Beaches brands. We thoroughly enjoy working with the 4 Pines team and together, we will now take this great partnership to the next level.
“4 Pines Park is a very exciting project. Beyond all of the positive branding, we are looking forward to delivering an enhanced fan experience at 4 Pines Park for our members and corporate partners as well as the whole Northern Beaches community,” said Mr Humphreys.
Founded in 2008 at Manly, 4 Pines Brewing Company experienced strong success as a craft beer brand, moving to a larger brewing facility at Brookvale in 2011. It operates three venues on the Northern Beaches, at Brookvale, Manly and Newport.
